Power Hour Aromatics

How about a Lunch time break to educate your senses and stimulate your mind? There are so many avenues to essential oils these days without access for the proper use and education. Master Aromatherapist Heather Howell-Vitale will be offering a series of seminars to share her wealth of knowledge from her 15+ years as a practicing Certified Clinical Aromatherapist.

She will be hosting a fantastic empowering series starting Tuesday May 12, 2015 at 12:15 pm at Bridge to Avalon, Charleston, SC. This first topic is the ABC's of Essential Oils. You will be learning about the effectiveness, simplicity and safety of essential oils. Free to the Public. Love Donation Offerings appreciated. (The Power Hour Aromatics will be held from 12:15 pm - 1:15 pm for the duration of the series.)

• Thursday May 14 - Chemical-Free, Naturally Cleaning your Space (home, office, car, etc.)

• Thursday May 21 - The Energetics of Essential Oils

Summer Time Cleaning with Essential Oils

One of the best essential oils for cleaning is Lemon essential oil, which boosts the effectiveness of cleaning with natural products and leaves a fresh, clean scent all around. Below are recipes to deodorize, disinfect, degrease, polish, and brighten your environment, naturally. You will be empowering your immune system, your health as well as those in your environment. Just think, you will be enhancing the lives of many, just by cleaning naturally with essential oils.

Everyday Disinfectant:
• Fill a 8oz. spray bottle with water
• Add a squirt of plant based soap
• Add 5-10 drops each of lemon, lavender, and pine essential oils (can use individually)
Shake well and apply to all surfaces.

Mold & Mildew Spray:
• Pour 2 cups distilled white vinegar into a spray bottle
• Add 5-10 drops lemon essential oil and 5-10 drops tea tree essential oil
Shake well and spray on infected area
